Elevating Web Design with the Tindak Pundi Script Font

I recently started working on a landing page redesign for a creative coaching brand. The client wanted something elegant but approachable—something that felt personal yet professional. I began testing different fonts in the hero section, and that’s when I came across Tindak Pundi. It’s a delicate, flowing handwritten font that immediately stood out for its balance and warmth. I dropped it into the headline area over a soft gradient background, and the result was unexpectedly inviting.

Tindak Pundi is a script font that feels both modern and timeless. Its characters are well-proportioned with gentle strokes that mimic natural handwriting. This gives it a soft personality, making it ideal for digital projects that aim to feel human and expressive. Unlike some overly stylized script fonts, Tindak Pundi maintains a level of clarity that works well on screen, especially when used at larger sizes like headers or callouts.

As I moved through the layout process, I tested Tindak Pundi in different areas of the page. It worked beautifully in the hero section as a headline font. I also tried it for a “Book Your Session” button, but found it a bit too decorative for small interactive elements. That’s when I realized this font shines best when used sparingly—like for logo text, section titles, or featured quotes. It’s not ideal for long-form body text, but rather for moments where you want to add a touch of personality without overwhelming the reader.

One of the most compelling uses I found for Tindak Pundi was in a boutique online store concept I was prototyping. The brand was a small artisanal candle shop with a focus on wellness and mindfulness. I placed the font in the product banners and category headers, and it gave the entire layout a soft, curated feel. When paired with a clean sans-serif like Montserrat or Lato for body text, the contrast helped create a visual hierarchy that guided the user naturally through the page.

When working with script fonts like Tindak Pundi, readability is always a concern—especially on mobile devices. I made sure to test it across screen sizes and found that it held up well when used at 24px or larger. However, I noticed that on smaller buttons or in low-contrast settings (like light gray on white), the font started to lose legibility. To counter this, I adjusted the color contrast and avoided using it over busy image backgrounds without a subtle overlay or stroke effect.

Another practical test was using Tindak Pundi in a blog header design. The blog focused on lifestyle and creative entrepreneurship, so a handwritten font made sense for the header image overlays. I placed it over soft focus images and used a semi-transparent background box behind the text to ensure it remained readable. It added a human touch that felt more editorial and less corporate, which aligned perfectly with the brand’s voice.

When considering font pairing, Tindak Pundi pairs exceptionally well with minimalist sans serif fonts. For example, using it for a section title and then switching to a clean Open Sans or Roboto for the body copy created a balanced and modern feel. If you're aiming for a more editorial or luxury feel, pairing it with a serif like Playfair Display can elevate the overall design. Just be sure to keep the supporting fonts simple so the script font doesn’t get lost in the mix.

I also explored using Tindak Pundi in a digital brand kit for a creative agency. It was included as a logo font option and for internal presentation headers. Because it’s a script font with a delicate flow, it added a sense of craftsmanship and attention to detail. The client loved the idea of using it for promotional graphics and social media headers, where a more expressive tone is welcome.

Before finalizing the font for web use, I made sure to check its technical specs. Tindak Pundi is available in standard web font formats like WOFF and OTF, which makes it compatible with most CSS font stacks. It includes a good range of Latin characters and supports multilingual use, which is important for global brands. I also checked the licensing to confirm it was cleared for commercial use in client projects and online stores—something you should always verify before deploying a font live.

In terms of performance, Tindak Pundi loaded quickly and didn’t cause any layout shifts or render-blocking issues. I used it with the font-display: swap; setting in CSS to ensure text remained visible during load, which is crucial for maintaining a smooth user experience. Since it’s a display font, I only loaded it for headings and decorative elements, keeping the overall page weight lighter.

Overall, Tindak Pundi is a strong choice when you want to bring a sense of elegance and approachability to your digital design. It works especially well in creative fields—like coaching, design portfolios, lifestyle brands, and course landing pages—where the tone is personal and expressive. Just remember to use it thoughtfully, keep readability in mind, and pair it with simpler fonts to maintain balance in your layout.

Whether you’re building a portfolio homepage, launching a product landing page, or designing a digital brand kit, Tindak Pundi adds a layer of visual sophistication that elevates your typography beyond the usual sans serif defaults. It’s a great reminder that the right font can do more than just look good—it can shape how users feel about your brand.
